At P2PU, people work together to learn a particular topic by completing tasks, assessing individual and group work, and providing constructive feedback.
This course will become read-only in the near future. Tell us at community.p2pu.org if that is a problem.
Self-study course on proofs and algorithms
University of Maryland open study group on mathematical proofs, theoretical arguments, probability theory and randomized algorithms. Focus on solving problems. Content has been chosen to complement graduate-level work in computer science.
For those on campus at UMD, there will be weekly in-person meetings to review practice problems and questions about the material. All are welcome to participate and keep pace with the material and discussions. If there is interest we will determine a way to support remote meeting participation.
posted message: I just changed the signup to "closed" to reflect that our study group has come to an end now that the summer is over... thanks to everyone for participating and following! We may do other study groups in the future.
posted message: Are we meeting in person or remotely today?
Kotaro: Will you be joining us? If so, then in-person may be preferred.
All: We are covering chapter 6 today.
