University of Maryland open study group on mathematical proofs, theoretical arguments, probability theory and randomized algorithms. Focus on solving problems. Content has been chosen to complement graduate-level work in computer science.
For those on campus at UMD, there will be weekly in-person meetings to review practice problems and questions about the material. All are welcome to participate and keep pace with the material and discussions. If there is interest we will determine a way to support remote meeting participation.

We will focus on discussing problems from the Alice book Chap 1-4.

We worked on:
on the Alice book together. (Feels like we did more... Did I forget something!?)
We also discussed about Alex's game. The game will be posted on P2PU soon! (?)
I dont have the solutions with me right now, but this week I worked on problems 10, 15, 20, and 22 from ch. 1, and am planning this week to look at the problems that Saravanan said he did from chapter 3 (and 4?).
I have some questions and will post when I have a better internet connection.
