Break the ice

Get everyone to know each other and play a game (or three)

When starting your Challenge Party, It is nice to have a few activities to break the ice between partcipants and get their creative juices flowing. Depending on the group you are hosting and the time you have ahead of you, you can try playing a classic icebreaker game like massive multiplayer thumbwars if you have a large audience or Ninja if you want to have your participants stand up and do ninja-style moves.

OR you can dive in and play a quick round of Playstorm, a brainstorming activity we crafted especially for Challenge Parties. Below is a video of how to play and a bunch of words that you can use when you are writing the tasks. Keep in mind that you will need to prepare index cards for this activity.
