Read the lessons under “AJAX Security."

For some lessons Firebug is a great help. Firebug is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that allows you to check the structure of a web page, but besides it can edit it (in memory) and even to debug Javascript programs (very useful for example in the lesson "Insecure Client Storage")
