Get Your Story Straight

Know what you're talking about!
  1. Create Talking Points  It is important to communicate about your event in clear, consistent language. Craft 5-10 sentences or ideas that help you to explain the focus, structure and goals of your event.  Here are some sample talking points and FAQs to use — feel free to borrow or put in your own words.

  2. Share your Ideas  Post your talking points. Review and comment on at least two of your peers posts.

  3. Rinse. Repeat. After collecting feedback from your peers, it's important to incorporate ideas into your plans and talking. Review the comments from your peers and deploy any changes.
