You may find someone with whom you want to collaborate beyond the time and scope of this course. Here are some ideas for opportunties to work together:

  • Share expertise with a less experienced participants with common interests.
  • Create multimedia with another participant in a similar grade level/subject area.
  • Exchange multimedia resources of common interests.
  • Non-teachers could collaborate with teachers to help them create educational multimedia.

Task Discussion

Im interesting in working with anyone out there. I'm looking for any multimedia that could be used for self assessment quizzes for those wanting to enter aged care, business services, building areas. Im looking for specific literacy/numeracy related resources. I am thinking about interactive activities that contextual the literacy/numeracy tasks. In Australia we find that students entering these career pathways are unprepared for the Lit/num demands in their formal studies.

I am a big fan of open-licensed multimedia -- music, graphics, photos, video, etc. that is free and open to be remixed and redistributed legally. Here is a livebinder with some examples. (See especially the 2nd tab w/more generic multimedia resources.)

If anyone has a subject or topic for which they are looking for open-licensed content for, I'd be happy to help you find something appropriate.
