Definitely developing goals!  Planetary is just one of several examples (I hope).

OK, it's just that it says "Mathematics on Computers" which is something I can definitely relate to even if t is kind of broad brush.

Would, say, a project like Sage fit into this?

Definitely!   And incidentally we can, any time, update the course logo to make it more clear that the intention is to be inclusive.

I'm a bit confused, are we supposed to be developing goals or is the single goal of this group to work on planetary?

What sort of process would we have to go through in p2pu so that we can load a 146KB Javascript file to Task pages in this Group (or does it have to be site-wide? School-wide?). Even load it from another server.

    I'm thinking of  ASCIIMathML.js here  http://www.squarecirclez.com/blog/enter-math-in-emails-forums-and-web-pages-using-asciimathml/2861

At least then we could do some math  within p2pu.

One idea for an initial "assignment" would be for everyone to post a short (< 500 words) summary of some related project, tool, or resource.  If people are feeling energetic this can be repeated.  There's no shortage of projects out there to choose from!

I set up a Task for the related resources and posted the first one in there but you deleted it and put it back in here (where it doesn't belong, so I deleted it again).
