First Challenge Exercise

Hi fellow web development enthusiasts,

I hope you are getting as much as you can out of this course. The goal of this course is to help you become a pro at html and css. The typical job you can get from mastering html and css is a Front End Developer position. Thus I have a first exercise that will challenge what you have learned thus far.

Every Front End Developer should be able to receive from a graphic artists a web template and convert it to a html page. Whether this template is saved as a .psd (photoshop) file, .png(portable network graphics) file, .jpg aka jpeg file, or a gif file you should be able to make your html page look exactly like the the graphic artists designed it. So with that said here is the exercise below:

I want you to recreate the following graphics files into html pages it must look exactly how it looks on the links below:

if you want to get the actual graphics just click the view source feature in your browser click on the link for the image and save it.

And on the one that is showing you the dropdown menu you cannot use any JavaScript You can only use html and css for this exercise.

And you do not need Photoshop either. But you can use Photoshop if you want to. .

You can refer to http://w3schools.com as a reference for html and css.

Once you are finished email the finished page to me at mojaray2k@live.com. Put in the subject line "HTML & CSS Challenge Completed".

Respectfully,

Amen Moja Ra
