Mathematical notation can be very ugly on computers, so we recommend the only fonts designed to work with mathematical notation: STIX. You can download them here: http://www.stixfonts.org/. Also, the documentation, in PDF format, is here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/stixfonts/files/DocumentationOnly/STIXv1.0.0.pdf/download.
