One of the unexpected challenges in contributing to open source, is the learning curve of tools and social norms that come with participation in open communities.
This course, a combination of online and offline activities, is designed to provide you with an opportunity to learn open source participation 'by doing' in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
Leveraging resources, tools and curriculum of Open Hatch and SocialCoding4Good, this course can be self-led, or leveraged for groups online. Opportunities include real-time collaboration with the very active and friendly communities of Open Hatch and Mozilla.
