1) What would you like to map?
2) What is your experience level with making websites?
I am an experienced user of GIS (MapInfo, QGIS) but am looking to learn more about creating and publishing maps online. I hope to achive the basics of this through the topic.
I would like to map some survey data that my organisation gathered earlier in 2013.
I have little experience in making websites, but i am hopeful of creating a webmap that can be embedded into others.

1) Especially social media data (twitter, facebook, tumblr, flickr...) and also large data from databases
2) Made my own web mapping apps and intercative mapping websites experiments and projects using Leaflet, OpenLayers, GeoServer... according to the level of complexity and final use of the website. Not allways by my own, this being the level that I want to achieve. Personal capabilities to manage any kind of project no matter the size, complexity or destination.
I am interested in mapping items from a database and show them in the a webpage.
Eventually I would like to use the map interface to georreference database items which do not currently contain geographic coordinates; perhaps also use map clicks to create new georreferenced database items.
I'm a librarian who is getting back into mapping after a long hiatus

I am interested in leaflet because I understand that it makes web mapping more integrated into a webpage and as such, it brings maps out of their embedded box.
I am dedicated to learning more about web mapping and I have been documenting my learning process so that others might learn from my journey: http://theplaceisnow.aedileworks.com/
As a librarian, organizing is something I can do well, so I would willing to help with the course organization.
Gordan Savicic is media artist and researcher who investigates software algorithms, experimental media and speculative hardware. His works often include game cultures, urban interventions and open source technologies. He is fascinated by new issues of our contemporary existence, such as the creation of mega-cities or the effects of new media on subjectivity and its deep social implications. Virtual is not the non-real, but actually the more-real.

I'm a programmer integrating maps and GIS into my web applications.
I have data about FDA inspections that I'd like to map.
I've been programming websites for several years, and am currently using Symfony2 for my PHP framework.
I enjoy tinkering with QGIS and drawing maps
I hope to be able to combine my annotations and drawings with OSM to display my pretentious psychogeographic twaddle.
I plan to map drawings, annotations and local urban planning issues (not all on the same map),
Made some websites in the old geocities days (old-school table soup) and recently brushed up a bit on codeacademy - profile here
I am an engineer by trade, but have an online learning company where we design and implement custome trainings for companies.
I have used Google Maps API in the past and am interested in using other mapping methods in my websites
I am hopeing to understand the mapping API and to understand how to use the mapping interface, overlays, etc.
If I have time, then I would love to help out where I can, but my time is too limited to be a major contributor at this point. Let's just see how things go :)
I have experience building websites from scratch and from using open source tools. I enjoy learning about open-source JS and or PHP libraries.
