"Why I Blog" by Andrew Sullivan.
This will mostly be about personal topics, such as relationships (friendships, family, romantic), changes in my life and how I am adapting to them. I am thinking of starting at least one, maybe two more. one would concern education, elearning, instructional design, and similar topics. This is my profession and a major interest of mine. Another site might be devoted to my writing. I don't get the chance to write creatively as often as I would like, but when I do I could have a blog to post my writings to.
My interests/passions include:
Looking at what I've written so far, I hope I haven't run too long. I also think my response is in reverse order from the question, but hopefully you will all be able to understand what I am saying.
I have been wanting to write on a blog and I have managed to start a few on Blogger and Tumblr but I am having difficulty maintaining them and thinking of what to write next. Hopefully this blog I have I can keep. :)

I have a blog - firstname.lastname@example.org. I am passionate about contra dancing - particularly the craft of calling contra dances and thats why I started this blog. That sounds like a very narrow subject, but there are lots of things that can apply - essentially, anything that has to do with building community and relating to people.
I have split my passions into professionally focused and a personally focused blogs at
http://valarywithawhy.tumblr.com - professional
http://nolagrrlnyc.tumblr.com - personal
The professional one focuses on communication, presenting, e-learning and all things that go into how we learn and communicate in this digital age while the personal one is a place for me to experiment with my photography and share wonderful things to do in my hometowns (NOLA and NYC) as well as some personal stories.
Not too long ago, I created a blog at: http://theasayfamily.blogspot.com/. My purpose is mainly to tell the story of how my husband and I met, and to tell of the adventures of our now 1-year-old son (mostly for the benefit of our family, who live far away). I have not updated it in some time, but I hope to very soon. I would like to do an extensive post detailing my son's first birthday party, and what he is up to these days/how he has grown over the past year. The end.
I am creating a blog so I can not only learn more about the online world, but also to show the progress of everything I learn and want to learn. Some of the things this blog will help me with is showing my prgress in:
