I am here to get to know Python. I have been a Java programmer for more than a couple of years. But now I find myself in a position where I have to learn Python. I was looking for challenges that could help me along the way. Moreover I noticed P2PU was backed by Mozilla. So I just want to get, set and Go ...

    Hi there!

I'm running Python 2.7.3 on my Ubuntu desktop machine and 2.6.6 on our Debian server.

The reason I participate in this course is to get to know Python, which I wanted to get to know for a long time, and this was triggered in particular by my interest in OpenERP, which is coded in Python. I'd love to get a feel of creating and manipulating objects and a general overview of the language.
