Precinct Maps

Voter contact is accomplished through three mechanisms: phone, door-to-door, and, increasingly, email and/or "robocalls," automated dialing software/hardware that plays a prerecorded message. However, of all the methods, the most effective, but the least time-efficient, is door-to-door contact. The key weapon in this arsenal is the precinct map and the voter list. The campaign should have already preselected which voters to contact and supplied a list (uploaded separately) with only those addresses. But, first, take a look at the precinct map itself. This was was obtained from the public site at the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters.

Question: If you are organizing volunteers to walk door-to-door on behalf of the candidate, what is the most efficient route? How many volunteers should work together? How long should you ask them to work?
