posted message: @Slava (since I don't know how to reply to posts) I was looking at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc288325(v=vs.85).aspx - it seems that IE9 should work for HTML5, "IE9 mode provides the highest support available for established and emerging industry standards, including the HTML5 (Working Draft), W3C Cascading Style Sheets Level 3 Specification (Working Draft), Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) 1.0 Specification, and others." so meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9" should work
