Week 3 - Learner Stories (27 August - 2 September)
Hi everyone,
Just a quick reminder that this week we're focusing on Learner Stories. If you haven't seen these, head over to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Badges and have a look at them.
The examples given by the Mozilla Foundation are great and thought-provoking, but thinking through how it would work in your particular context is what this semester of learning is all about! Add your thoughts below, or a link to your blog post about them. We already have examples from Kevin, Dan, Ian, Shelley, Linda, and Andy (why not leave them a comment?)
We're abandoning the Saturday night IRC discussions due to a lack of interest (which is fine!) Asynchronous is obviously the way to go with this semester of learning. :-)

Hi everyone,
It's clear that whilst there's real interest in Open Badges and the asynchronous discussions, there's not so much for the Saturday evening (UK time) synchronous discussions via IRC.
That's fine, and understandable.
What I'd like to ask, therefore, is how people would like to engage with this semester of learning for the remaining weeks?
- Would you like a synchronous element? If so, video/audio/text?
- Are the comment threads under each week serving well enough for discussions?
- An Etherpad was suggested at the most recent IRC discussion. Would this be of interest?
