I am a mathematics teacher at a public high school in New Jersey, and am in my 13th year of teaching.  I originally was a physicist, but left the world of research because I realized my interest was in explaining and trying to motivate, rather than in being in a laboratory.  I've taught math and physics in public schools in New York City and New Jersey, and have worked with all levels of high school students.
